The function of these two models, the KN-8828P-2 and the KN-8828B-2, are very similar to the current models (KN-8828P-2K and KN-8828B-2K). The only significant difference is that these two models pictures here have the original style button temperature sensor. The two current models above have the K-style thermocouple. To positively identify whether your roaster is the current model or not, remove the front cover and look into the roasting chamber (shown in the left image with the drum removed):
This is the old style button sensor which identifies the two discontinued models above.	In the same location as the button thermostat shown at the left, the "-2K" models will have the new style K-Thermocouple seen here.
