1 Begin by following these procedures:
Remove Main Fan
Remove Rear cover
Remove the Base

2 The Agitation Arm Motor is located on the base of the machine. After the base has been removed, pull off the spindle adaptor from the Agitation Arm Motor.

3 On the main circuit board, remove the two wires indicated here (other wires are shown connected, but you will have removed them when removing the Base).

4 Remove the two Phillips head screws holding the motor to the base, and remove the motor, carefully pulling the wires out from under the main circuit board.

5

For clarity, the Main Circuit Board has been removed here. The two heavy, black wires are from the Agitation Motor. The two thinner wires are from the Bean Cooling Fan. Note the routing around the two studs upon which the Main Board Mounts. Be sure the wires get clipped into the molded-in retainer as shown here.

6 Assembly is the reverse order. When replacing the Agitation Motor in the base, be sure that there is no debris between them. Be sure to carefully route the wires back under the main circuit board. Fasten the motor in place with the two screws and clip the wires back into the molded retainer as before. REMEMBER to replace the spindle adapter!

To complete the repair you must and reassemble the machine:
Replace the Base
Replace the Rear Cover
Replace the Fan
